Hey mama, I’m Dana, a pediatric occupational therapist that specializes in infant feeding therapy and helping moms feel confident during this special time in yours and your baby’s life.
Create a rhythm that supports your baby’s feeding, milestones, and development so you can stop second guessing and enjoy these precious early days with confidence.
Despite what social media might suggest, feeding your baby is not meant to look the same for every family.
Every baby is different. Every parent’s experience is different. At Connecting Dots Therapy, we help you understand your baby’s unique feeding patterns and provide expert guidance tailored specifically to your family. Instead of guessing or trying to follow a one-size-fits-all approach, you receive individualized strategies designed to support both you and your baby.
Feeding is about more than nourishment. It is one of the earliest ways you connect with and learn to understand your baby. When feeding is working well, it allows you to relax into those moments, trust your instincts, and feel confident in the choices you are making for your baby’s health and development.
They say it takes a village to raise a child. I would be honored to walk alongside you as part of yours.
I’m Dana, born and raised in West Monroe, Louisiana, and an occupational therapist dedicated to supporting moms and babies through the early stages of feeding and development.
I’m also a mom to my son, Lennox. After going through a traumatic birth experience myself, I understand firsthand how overwhelming the fourth trimester can feel. Between the exhaustion, the pressure, and the flood of advice coming from every direction, it can be difficult to know what is truly best for you and your baby.
When Lennox was born, I experienced just how much uncertainty and stress can surround those early weeks of parenthood. There is so much information out there, and so many opinions, that it can quickly become overwhelming for new parents trying to do the very best for their child.
That experience is a big part of why I do what I do today. I am passionate about advocating for moms and babies and helping parents feel supported, informed, and confident during this important stage. My goal is to guide families through the early challenges of feeding and development while reducing as much stress as possible, so you can focus on what matters most: enjoying and soaking in every moment of this incredibly special season of your baby’s life.
I never want another mother to feel the same confusion and frustration around feeding that so many parents experience.
Like many new parents, I quickly realized how overwhelming the fourth trimester can be, with conflicting advice, outdated information, and constant pressure to do what is best for your baby. Learning that breastfeeding does not have to be painful became a turning point for me, leading me to dive deeper into the science of infant feeding and discover how small changes can profoundly improve a family’s quality of life.
While I cannot change my own experience, I knew I could help other families have a better one.
As an occupational therapist practicing since 2009, I have pursued specialized training across the country, including Feed the Peds, TOTS (Tethered Oral Tissue) training, and mentorship with Dr. Gigi at Milk Matters in New Jersey, and through Connecting Dots Therapy, I have now helped hundreds of families navigate breastfeeding and bottle feeding with greater confidence and support.
With so much conflicting advice around feeding, many parents feel overwhelmed and unsure where to turn.
I’m here to be your trusted feeding expert, providing clear guidance and support so you can feed your baby with confidence.
Since 2009, I’ve helped thousands of families feel confident in their baby’s nutritional and developmental progress.
At Connecting Dots Therapy, we work closely with parents to understand what is happening with their baby’s feeding, growth, and early development. By identifying what may be getting in the way and making thoughtful adjustments, we help families create strategies that support both baby and parent.
Because the early months can feel overwhelming, our goal is to provide clear guidance and practical support so you can spend less time worrying and more time enjoying your baby.
You don’t have to navigate this stage alone.
